There’s a local elementary school, a lovely river park, and a few restaurants and shops. Based on the current residential growth trend, retail and commercial are likely to follow in time. At present, most residents rely on Northwest Reno for their shopping needs.
Keep in mind that Verdi can be both in California AND Nevada, so it is important to pay attention to which side of the line you’re on when searching for property. There are tax differences to consider, as well as some variability on water rights, among other things.
